It was such a privilege and honor to be able to work on this show especially inĀ this particular time in history where Black stories need to be told more than ever. I had a deep connection to this show being a minority living in the United States in 2020. I was able to channel those feelings and output them creatively in a way I was never able to do before. I think that connection established this fortitude to create something beautiful for people to enjoy in our current times of turmoil. The creative force behind such thumb-stopping creative made this season of The Chi one of the most successful campaign and gainedĀ 60,000 new followers in just this season.
This season of The Chi was particularly great because the creator, Lena Waithe, re-posted some of my creative on her own channels.
